Cacao is a superfood and packed with beneficial things for health benefits. Cacao powder is processed at lower temperatures making it subject to less rancidity and chemical alteration that comes with high heat processing used with cocoa powder. 

Raw chocolate is full of flavonoids which are antioxidants that can help increase insulin sensitivity and reducing your risk of diabetes and anti-inflammatory properties that reduce inflammation in the body. Reduced inflammation may lessen your risk of some cancers, diabetes, arthritis, depression, and Alzheimer’s disease. Cacao can increase cerebral blood flow and cerebral blood oxygenation, cacao can lower blood pressure and oxidative stress in the brain and heart, and aid in preventing blood clots. Cacao contains potassium, magnesium, iron, protein, and fiber. Herbs added can increase the health benefits by adding in trace minerals and nutrients.
