Botany Days with Cat & Monticue

Reconnect with the natural world this summer through our two-part Botany Days series, hosted by Cat Pantaleo and Monticue Connelly.

These immersive plant walks are a wonderful way to deepen your knowledge of the local landscape while sharpening your plant identification skills in community. You’ll explore foundational botany concepts, learn to recognize plant families and ecosystems, and build confidence in recognizing Colorado’s native flora — all while slowing down and tuning in to your senses.

July 7, 9 and 11th

Boulder Foothills Series
  • July 7 (5–8 PM)
  • July 9 (5–8 PM)
  • July 11 (9 AM–2 PM)
  • Walking approximately 1.5 miles at 6,000 feet elevation
  • $195 for the series
No experience necessary — all levels welcome. Botany kit included with registration.

Subalpine Series
  • July 14 (5–8 PM)

  • Walking approximately 2 miles at elevations up to 10,000 feet
